The MP Motorsport team conquers the first place in the Sprint Race in Formula 2 in the Melbourne circuit in Australia with the driver Dennis Hauger. The Norwegian, who started from pole position due to the inversion of the top ten on the starting grid, made no mistakes at the start of the race and led the race for all 22 laps. Despite the safety car and the rain, the MP driver never lost the lead and crossed the finish line in first place. Too bad that in race 2, just as he was in third position, Hauger was rear-ended by Martins (who was later penalised) and forced to retire. Teammate Jehan Daruvala, who started from 12th position, made a great recovery and finished in 6th place.
Also in Formula 3 MP Motorsport took first place in the Sprint Race with Franco Colapinto, despite a race interrupted by 4 safety-car entries. However, the victory was then canceled due to a regulatory problem with some bodywork parts that were not confirmed by the commission. In race 2 Colapinto and Boya retired due to accidents on the track, while Edgar finished in 12th position.
Next appointment in Baku from 28 to 30 April for the Formula 2 championship.
