Baku City Circuit has been, like Bahrain, on the calendar ever since the first year of the current Formula 2 era. As Baku is a street circuit, it is known for good overtaking due to the long straight and dramatic moves in the narrow street parts.
MP’s first highlight dates back to 2019 when Jordan King finished third on the podium during the Feature Race. Felipe Drugovich matched that result 3 years later in 2022.
